Spiritual Life
Faith is at the heart of everything we do. Through prayer, liturgy, service, and the sacraments, our students grow as disciples of Christ.
The Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church
The sacraments are sacred signs instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us. They are grouped into three categories: Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation), Sacraments of Healing (Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick), and Sacraments at the Service of Communion (Holy Orders, Matrimony). Through these sacred encounters, we receive God's grace and are united more closely with Him and one another.

Sacraments of Initiation
Baptism
The first sacrament received, Baptism cleanses original sin, makes us children of God, and welcomes us into the Church.
Eucharist
The source and summit of the Christian life, in which we receive the true Body and Blood of Christ under the appearance of bread and wine.
Confirmation
Through the anointing with sacred chrism, the Holy Spirit strengthens us to live and profess our faith as mature Christians.
Sacraments of Healing
Reconciliation
Also called Confession or Penance, this sacrament restores our friendship with God through the forgiveness of sins.
Anointing of the Sick
Offered to those who are seriously ill or near death, this sacrament brings spiritual healing, comfort, and the grace of Christ.
Sacraments at the Service of Communion
Holy Orders
The sacrament through which men are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops to serve the Church in the person of Christ.
Matrimony
The lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, established by Christ as a sign of His love for the Church.
