At Holy Family Catholic School, we believe in building a strong foundation for your child's lifelong learning journey. Our pre-kindergarten program focuses on developing essential skills, attitudes, and habits that will benefit your child both in school and throughout life. We encourage active parent participation in your child's education, as research shows that involved parents contribute to higher test scores and foster a solid educational future.

Our program offers high-quality, developmentally-appropriate, full-day pre-K classes for three- and four-year-old children. Holy Family Catholic School follows the guidelines set by the Louisiana Department of Education to ensure a nurturing and enriching learning environment.

We maintain a respectful atmosphere by strictly prohibiting any form of demeaning language or corporal punishment within our program. Time-outs are utilized when necessary, with each time-out duration determined by the child's age, lasting no longer than 1 minute per year of age.

Our program does not provide funding for before- and after-school care. Students may arrive at the school from 7:15 am and must be picked up by 3:15 pm. A fee of $5.00 per day will apply for students remaining after 3:15 pm. Failure to pay after-care fees for two consecutive months may result in disenrollment.

We highly value family involvement in your child's education. Parents are welcome to participate in classroom activities, field trips, and workshops. Regular parent-teacher conferences will be scheduled to discuss your child's progress and address any concerns.
