Understanding Your Tuition & Fees
Where Tuition Goes
Tuition and registration fees directly support the salaries and benefits of the administration, faculty, and staff who serve our students each day.
Parent Service & Fundraising
Parent involvement is vital to the life and mission of Holy Family Catholic School. Volunteer service strengthens our spiritual and academic environment and helps preserve the family atmosphere that has become a hallmark of HFCS. Every tuition-paying family is expected to participate in school fundraisers; proceeds go directly into the general fund to support daily school operations.
Payment Options
School fees are assessed at registration and may be paid in full or spread across ten monthly installments (July through April) by submitting a payment request form. Regardless of the schedule chosen, all fees are expected to be paid in full by the end of the school year.
Overdue Accounts
Accounts are due by the 15th of each month. Overdue balances without an approved payment arrangement or documented financial hardship may be referred to a collection agency, with any associated costs added to the account. Pursuant to Louisiana state law (R.S. 17:112), the education records of a student dropped from the school due to nonpayment may be released to satisfy outstanding obligations.
Fee Concessions & Financial Hardship
Fee concessions may be available to families experiencing demonstrated financial hardship. Parents should contact the Principal and/or Business Manager to schedule a confidential meeting; supporting documentation may be requested. Approved concessions are funded through the Malveaux/Jones Scholarship Fund and are granted at the discretion of school leadership. Hardship requests must be submitted by the end of January of the current school year.
Scholarships & Tuition Assistance
Families with students entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade may apply for tuition assistance through the following programs. Each scholarship is administered independently — please review eligibility requirements and submit applications directly through the provider.
