Currently teaching as an adjunct professor and civic engagement coordinator in the LSU system. Jazz catapulted from Holy Family to receive her Master's in Education from Marquette University — a reminder that humble beginnings never determine your outcome.
Grew up down the street from St. Paul's School (now Holy Family Catholic School) and went on to become the first lay president of Xavier University of Louisiana and an advisor to four U.S. Presidents — one of the most distinguished leaders in American Catholic higher education.
Former Louisiana state representative and one of the chief advisors to the Mayor-President. During his time in the State House and in public service, Mr. Pierre has been a champion for Black Catholic education and a steadfast supporter of Holy Family Catholic School.
Acclaimed Zydeco artist, bandleader of Lil Nathan & The Zydeco Big Timers, and proud Holy Family Catholic School alumnus carrying forward the rich musical heritage of Acadiana.
